Lectures will be held at the Institute’s premises at 10 Burlington Road, Dublin 4. The Summer School is non-residential and the Institute cannot provide accommodation for students.

Admission requirements

Admission to the School will be limited to students and scholars whose interests lie in Celtic Studies or related fields, such as Anglo-Saxon, linguistics, comparative philology, comparative literature, history, etc.

Application forms can be obtained by writing to or e-mailing the School Administrator (see below) or can be downloaded. Completed application forms with a statement of support from the applicant’s academic supervisor should be returned to the School Administrator by 28 February 2014.

The final date for registration (and payment of a deposit of €80) is 31 March 2014. As there will be an upper limit of 80 places available early application is advisable.

The fee will be €250.
