PIC Simulations of Relativistic Collisionless Shocks
We are pleased to announce a workshop "PIC Simulations of Relativistic Collisionless Shocks" to be held in Dublin, Ireland, from Monday May 19 to Friday May 23, 2008.
The meeting is supported by the Astrosim programme of the European Science Foundation, the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and the Irish Centre for High-End Computing.
The intention is to have a mix of tutorials and practical workshops as well as more conventional presentations; participation by students and early-stage researchers is particularly encouraged.
Access to parallel computational resources will be provided to participants throughout the workshop by the Irish Centre for High-End Computing, in particular to a Blue Gene/L machine on Wednesday May 21.
Numbers will be restricted and early registration of
interest is advisable.
