17-21 November, 2008 – Magnetotellurics and WinGLink Short Courses by Prof. Alan Jones (DIAS) and Dr. Wolfgang Soyer (Geosystem) – Lecture room, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, 10 Burlington Road, Dublin 4.
The first 2.5 days were general MT lectures and training, including a hands-on half day on MT data analysis. The other 2.5 days was specific training for using Geosystem’s WinGLink MT package.
Mon 17 – Tue 18: MT lecture course (Alan Jones, based on the 2002 SEG MT Short Course given originally by Karen Christopherson, Randy Mackie and Alan Jones)
Wed 19 am: MT data analysis course (Alan Jones)
Wed 19 pm: Introduction to WinGLink (Alan Jones, Marion Miensopust)
Thurs 20 – Fri 21: WinGLink training course (Wolfgang Soyer, WesternGeco – formerly Geosystem)
