Research Interests

Geophysical exploration, geothermal energy, natural resources, thermal structure of the crust.

Biographical Sketch

Thomas Farrell graduated from the University of Limerick in Applied Physics and has studied Earth and Ocean Sciences in NUI Galway. He joined the Geophysics Section in late 2011 to commence his PhD studies as part of the IRETHERM project.
