Current Research:

  • Processing, modeling, and interpretation of marine active seismic data
  • Geodynamic and geological evolution of rifted continental margins from integration of geophysical data (seismic & gravity data)
  • Evolution of back-arc basins

Stays Abroad:

3 months at the Institute of Marine Science of Bologna, Italy.

Survey Experience:

  • 16/2/2014-19/3/2014: TSUJAL marine survey. Acquisition of Wide-Angle and Multichannel seismic, gravimetric, and bathymetric data offshore Colima and Jalisco, Mexico
  • 7/4/2010-8/5/2010: MEDOC marine survey. Acquisition of geophysical data in the Tyrrhenian Sea on board of the R/V Sarmiento de Gamboa. The geophysical data consisted of Wide-Angle and Multichannel seismic, gravity, CTD, XBT data.
  • 11/2009: AMELIE marine survey. Recovery of Ocean Bottom Magnetometers in the Alboran Sea.
  • 11/2008: Filed survey in Almeria. Acquisition of magnetoteluric data.
