
The 2016 NDC Workshop is being organized by the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) in cooperation with DIAS and the Government of Ireland.
It will be held in Dublin, Ireland, from 9 to 13 May 2016.
The workshop will be attended by more than 60 international experts from around the world who are currently involved in developing improved systems for the detection and analysis of nuclear test experiments throughout the world.
The objectives of the workshop are to provide a forum for NDC experts to share experience in fulfilling their verification responsibilities, particularly in light of the recent North Korean test and review the progress of ratification as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the signing of the treaty.
The workshop will be hosted by the Irish National Seismic Network (INSN) – NDC Ireland, at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) 10 Burlington Road, Dublin 4 and is organized by the Preparatory Technical Secretariat (PTS) in cooperation with the Government of Ireland.
