Biographical sketch
Davit is a postdoctoral research fellow at DIAS (Irish Research Council Laureate Project Fellow) where he is engaged in the scientific exploration of particle acceleration and high-energy radiation processes in stellar-wind bubbles and supernovae interacting with dense stellar winds. Being familiar with current space-based observatories such as Chandra, Swift, NuStar and Fermi-LAT, he primarily focuses on the multi-wavelength studies of astronomical sources. He collaborates with the High Energy Astrophysics Theory Group of the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics and, as a member of the H.E.S.S. collaboration, he is actively involved in the Galactic science projects. He works with students from different universities, helping them to analyse and interpret data from space telescopes and acquainting them deeply with High-Energy Astrophysics.
Davit Zargaryan received MS (HONS) in Physics at Yerevan State University in 2015 and completed his Ph.D. in Astronomy at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia in 2018.
