Postdoctoral Fellowship: Frequency-Division Multiplexed Signal Analysis
The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) is offering a position to work on the development of frequency-division multiplexed signal analysis using FPGAs and RF SoC devices. This is part of a broader project involving the development of a novel readout system for microwave kinetic inductance detectors (MKIDs). The project is funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and is in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and Maynooth University.
The fellow will work on programming the hardware for the readout system. The position is available for 2 years starting as early as possible. Remuneration is based on SFI post-doctoral fellowship team member budget scales (available here) and starting salary will depend on experience.
Interested candidates should send a curriculum vitae and a brief statement of their research interests by November 13, 2020. They should also arrange for two letters of reference to be provided separately by the same date. Applicants should have a PhD in electronics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
DIAS is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
This positions benefits from Irish public service pension entitlements.
