Biographical sketch:
Kevin obtained a BA in physics and astrophysics from Trinity College Dublin in 2019, an MSc in Applied Mathematics from Technological University Dublin in 2021, and a specialist diploma in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Limerick in 2021. He joined Prof Jackman’s Planetary Magnetospheres group in 2021 as a research assistant. His current research focus is the creation of supervised learning algorithms for classifying regions in the magnetic environment near Mercury using data taken by the MESSENGER space probe.
