(04.03.2022) The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies expresses its support for, and solidarity with, the Ukrainian people at this time. We deplore the aggressive act of the Russian Federation, the consequent loss of life, and the devastating damage to the cultural, social and scientific fabric of Ukraine.
In particular we extend our solidarity to academic and research peers in Ukraine, especially colleagues with whom we work and conduct advanced studies, in Kyiv and beyond.
In doing so we extend our solidarity to students and academics of all nationalities in Ukraine.
We furthermore acknowledge and salute the members of the Russian scientific community, who have spoken out against the aggression of the Russian Federation.
DIAS is engaging with colleagues here in Ireland and across our international partnership networks to establish ways to offer our support.
