Erwin Schrödinger – Ireland’s adopted son

4th October 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

As part of the Dublin Festival of History, we take look back to how Nobel Prize-winning Professor Schrödinger came to Dublin at the outbreak of World War II, and to his life in Ireland from 1930-1956.

Join us for a panel discussion featuring Professor Luke O’Neill, mathematician Dr Marianne Leitner, physicist and history of science author Cormac O’Raifeartaigh, and playwright Arthur Riordan as we contemplate Schrödinger’s impact on our history, how his science influenced the world, and the legacy he has left behind. The panel will be introduced by CEO and Registrar, Dr Eucharia Meehan and moderated by physicist and comedian Dr Jessamyn Fairfield.

Location : DIAS, 10 Burlington Road, Dublin 4
