Lockdown Lecture: The thoughts of Hamilton and Schrödinger that stood the test of time.

Luuk Coopmans will delve into the scientific breakthroughs that drive the technology sector today, which could not have become reality without the efforts of some brilliant minds.
In this historical lecture he will describe the original thoughts of Irish Scientist Rowan Hamilton and of course the first ever Director of DIAS’ School of Theoretical Physics Erwin Schrödinger, that led to the modern quantum revolution.
The session will take place via Zoom link that will be sent to registered participants on the morning of the 08 June.
