Title: Quantum Amplitudes & Classical Gravity
Abstract: Scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory have a number of surprising properties. They also provide a close link between Einstein gravity and Yang-Mills theory. We can exploit this link to simplify computations in perturbative gravity, and also to understand exact features of gravitational solutions from a new point of view. In this talk, I will discuss applications of amplitudes to classical gravity.
