Following the announcement by the Government that Ireland will enter a period of lockdown termed Level 5, DIAS is implementing full ‘working from home’ measures for all of its team as of 6pm Wednesday 21st October.
This decision has been made in order to protect the welfare of students, scholars and staff at DIAS, and in the public interest. These measures will remain in effect until further notice.
The libraries at the School of Celtic Studies and at the School of Theoretical Physics are closed. As noted on our online shop, whilst books may still be purchased, orders will not be filled until the Level 5 restrictions are lifted; you are therefore asked for patience and forbearance at this challenging time.
DIAS staff, students and scholars are still contactable by email and by phone. Contact details may be found here .
As there will be no physical presence at reception from close of business Wednesday 21st October, deliveries must be pre-notified and made by arrangement. If you are conducting a service or need to speak to someone, please find below, for your convenience, some contact details for each of our sites:
