Schrödinger’s Cycling Map of Dublin

Update (2022):

The Schrodinger Cycle Map is no longer being produced or promoted by DIAS. Whilst Erwin Schrödinger was one of the most high-profile scientists ever to live and work in Ireland, unfortunately, today, his legacy is tainted due to allegations about his private life. DIAS deeply condemns any inappropriate sexual behaviour on the part of Professor Schrödinger or any other persons, past or present.

A new cycle route, which will highlight the significant scientific and research legacy of a range of individuals both from within and beyond DIAS, is under development.

This new cycle route map will be available early Summer 2022.

This morning (20.09.2021) DIAS launched Schrödinger’s Cycling Map of Dublin this morning as part of the Dublin Festival of History. Many thanks to Dublin City Council for their support of this initiative.

The map, and further information on Schrödinger and DIAS, can be found on www.dias.ie/schrodinger-cycle

Please note, this is an outdoor cycling route, the buildings mentioned are not open to the public.
