MSc. Applied Mathematics, University College Cork, 2011.

Research interests

James is a data analyst for the Irish National Seismic Network, which monitors for seismic activity within Ireland and its offshore regions.

James is involved in research relating to the seismicity of Ireland , the discrimination between different classes of seismic events using waveform and spectral characteristics and the calibration of local magnitude scales.
