Schrödinger Fellowship in Theoretical Physics

A Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship is available in the School of Theoretical Physics at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. This is a dedicated research position for up to five years. 

Candidates must have a proven record as independent researchers in one of the following fields of study: Quantum Field Theory, String Theory, Statistical Mechanics, Condensed Matter Theory, Quantum Information and Quantum Computing. Appointments will be on the basis of a fixed-term contract up to five years. The Fellowship salary scale  is:  €52,950 - €58,852 per annum (Personal Pension Contribution  scale); €50,303 - €55,910 per annum  (Non-Personal Pension Contribution scale).  The appointee will be subject to the general Irish public sector regulations as regards annual leave, sick leave, pension entitlements etc.
