Samhain agus Science 2023

Samhain agus Science, now in its 6th year, is an annual initiative of the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies taking place each year during Halloween. From spooky science to the mysteries of the Celtic festival of Samhain, DIAS scholars from the Schools of Celtic Studies, Theoretical Physics, Astrophysics and Geophysics host a programme of public events.

This year’s festival ran from 25 October to 06 November with a total of five events (see below), representing all our schools. All events were in-person, with four taking place at DIAS HQ, 10 Burlington Road, Dublin 4, and the fifth taking place at Galway City Museum. Thanks to all of our fantastic speakers and the wonderful audience members who attended the events and engaged with the speakers. See you in 2024!
