Bruna
obtained her B.Sc. in Physics at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto
(Brazil) in 2016. During her bachelor she did a one year placement at
the University of Liverpool in Geophysics with focus in Physics.
After, she got her M.Sc. degree in Geophysics at Universidade de São
Paulo under the supervision of Prof. Marcelo Assumpção in 2018. Now
she is a PhD student at DIAS, under supervision of Dr. Sergei
Lebedev.
Bruna’s
research concerns the application of new methods of array and
waveform tomography to large volumes of data to image the structure
of the lithosphere and underlying mantle in South America.
