Lectures will be held at the Institute’s premises at 10 Burlington Road, Dublin 4, from Monday to Saturday in the first week, and from Monday to Friday in the second. Morning sessions last for an hour and a half, while those in the afternoon last for one hour.

The Summer School is non-residential and the Institute cannot provide accommodation for students.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the School will be limited to students and scholars whose interests lie in Celtic Studies or related fields, such as Anglo-Saxon, linguistics, comparative philology, comparative literature, history, etc.

We will begin accepting applications in the coming weeks at this page. We will also send an announcement to our mailing list at that time. Send a blank email to announce-subscribe@celt.dias.ie to join the list. Completed applications with a statement of support from the applicant’s academic supervisor should be returned to the School Administrator by 28 February 2017.

The final date for registration (and payment of a deposit of €80) is 28 February 2017. As there will be a limited number of places available, early application is advisable.

The fee will be €250.
