As part of WorldCon Dublin 2019, DIAS researchers will be presenting talks about I-LOFAR, and Ireland’s contribution to the world of Radio Astronomy on Thursday August 15 between 16:30 and 17:20.
They will also be giving pointers in Astrophysics for Writers on Saturday August 17 between 16:30 and 17:20. Astrophysics For Writers is aimed at informing Sci-Fi creators about the reality of the universe, and giving hints and tips for making their creations more believable.
Dublin 2019 is the 77th Annual World Science Fiction Convention. This is an opportunity to meet many great names from the world of science fiction and fantasy, including actors, authors and artists, as well as scientists such as Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell.
