
Kinsale Community College, one of the participating schools in the DIAS Seismology in Schools Outreach Programme, recently won the Geological Survey of Ireland prize for the best geological project at the BT Young Scientist Technology Exhibition 2015.
Their project was entitled “Earthquakes in Ireland! What’s shaking us?”
The Seismology in Schools (Seismeolaíocht sa Scoil) project is organised by the Geophysics Section, School of Cosmic Physics, DIAS as part of its outreach programme.
