One Hundred Years of Einstein’s Gravity – but where are the Waves?
Mike Cruise, Professor of Astrophysics and Space Research, University of Birmingham, will deliver this free public lecture on behalf of DIAS and UCD in association with DCU.
The lecture will take place at 19:30 on Wednesday 25 November 2015 in Lecture Theatre No. E214 (located in the E Block), St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra (map). The recently rediscovered Grubb coelostat used by Eddington to confirm Einstein’s theory will be on display.
St Patrick’s College is on the Drumcondra Road and is served by buses numbers 1, 11, 13, 16, 33, 41, 41B, 41C and 44 as well as Drumcondra station on the Maynooth train line. Limited car parking is also available on site.

Admission is free but advanced booking is required here.
