A free Public Outreach event (ticket only) will take place on the evening of Thursday 14th April 2011, at the Helix, DCU, to mark the 50th Anniversary of the first manned spaceflight by Yuri Gagarin.
Mikhail Kornienko, a Russian Cosmonaut, will talk about his 6 month experience living and working aboard the International Space Station.
This event is organised and managed by Dublin City University, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and the Russian Alliance.
Please register online by Monday, 11th April. Tickets will be issued ion a first-come, first-served basis.
Doors open at 7:00pm. Guests are kindly requested to be seated by 7:15pm, as the event will begin promptly at 7:30pm.
